History
The Program of the Professional Master's degree in business Administration (MPA), established in 1998, which is in the field of education and training are the Core of the Post-Graduate diploma in business Administration (NPGA), which also offers courses for a doctoral degree and a master's degree in business Administration, academic in nature, backed up by strong production, research, and faculty members who are qualified and experienced. This tight integration between all aspects of the academic and the professional has made a positive impact on the quality of the training offered by the MPA and promoting the contribution of the theoretical subjects for the process of reflection on professional practice, and the development of core competencies for analysis and intervention in an organizational perspective, contextual and inter-disciplinary.
MPA is notable for being one of the pioneers of this type in the country and it was to meet a significant demand for the training of managers in the context of the economy and of the private sector in the Metropolitan Region of Salvador, bahia, in the State of Bahia, as well as governmental and Non-Governmental Organizations working in the State. Gradually, the program has been arousing the interest of a number of organisations to the public, at the local, regional, and national levels, thus contributing to the development of more than 490 masters in business administration, which are located throughout the country.
After more than 22 years, since the creation of the MPA and accounts for the supply of twenty-one (21) in the classes, and a nine (9) to an open tailored to meet the public, and the twelve (12) classes, which are close to the needs of the professional training of the servers of the public and private sectors, especially in the context of local, regional, and national levels.
